THE LOST WARRIOR 🪖

CHAPTER 7

The beast attack, Gui Shan narrowly escaped, still surprised on why he felt empty.

" But he did not stop on attempt to hit the beast, but his blow did nothing to the beast instead he felt pain in his arms."

Before he could recover he sew him self on the ground with a heavy blow from the paw of the beast.

The beast immediately wanted to Ponce on him and Gui Shan thought it was over.

But something amazing happened.

"As the beast was about to land him the final blow , suddenly a bright light shine from Gui Shan body, which left the beast dead on the ground."

On seeing this Gui Shan fainted.

"Gui Shan.... Gui Shan", Tang called out." 

 On getting there, he found Gui Shan lying on the ground with the beast already dead next to him.

Still in shock he approached and confirmed if the ferocious beast was dead.

Gui Shan.... Gui Shan, wake up he said with tears flowing down his check thinking Gui Shan was death."

"Stop crying I'm not dead", Gui Shan said waking up.

"What really happened,I was scared that I already lost you", tang said.

"How did you kill the beast", Tang asked out of curiosity." 

"Actually, I can not remember what happened all I could remember being knocked down by the beast and u wake me up", Gui Shan said trying to cover the truth.

"But such a ferocious beast can't just die at random, there is something you are not telling m", Tang tang said

Gui Shan : "So if you were told I killed this beast you would actually believe such a lie."

"It's not far from being possible", Tang tang replied.

"Help me up Gui Shan said trying to close the conversation."

"Let look for for somewhere safe before it's goes dark," Tang said as he led the way.

"That would be a good spot", Gui Shan said pointing at a cave.

They both walked to the cave on their way, Gui Shan gathered some sticks .

They entered the cave, and camp there. Gui Shan decided to set the fire before night falls.

Gui Shan : "Tang tang.... I'm going out to see if I can get something for dinner.

"Don't take long", Tang replied

Gui Shan okay as he went off.

 Hunting for meat wasn't Gui Shan real aim of going out. He was searching for a place where he can communicate with his ancestral grandmaster. He spotted a place and luckily a little Squirrel ran past which he caught immediately being a hunter.

He took it back to the cave and prepared roasted meat. they both ate to their satisfaction and retire for the night and bid each other a good night rest.

It didn't take long before Tang tang fell into a deep sleep, 

Gui Shan noticed that Tang tang had fallen asleep, he carefully got up and walked down a path with a fire torch to see through the dark woods he arrived at his destination.

He took a sit and concentrated deeply, he entered into a subconscious zone he found himself in the right place but a different location.

 He approached his grandmaster, Hun Feng, being aware of the fact that he disobey by acted against his mas wish and skipped training, he knows he was in for something.

his master was silent, Gui Shan decided to start a conversation.

"Good day master, he greeted." 

"Good day young warrior", master replied in similitude."

Gui Shan was shocked he thought the old man would scold him but he was so easy on him. still in shock he asked. 

"Are you not angry with me?

 "why would I be angry u did nothing to upset me, Hun Feng replied.

Gui Shan : "please I have a question." 

"Go on....the master replied.

Gui Shan : "were you the one who saved me this afternoon."

"Yes indeed I was the one, if I didn't do that you would be a dead man by now. Hun Feng replied.

Gui Shan : "Why did you save me? are you expecting something from me in return?

Grandmaster : "No! like I said you would be a dead man which means my primordial spirit would be lost and disappear."

"Thank you for saving my life although I 've not been of any help to you Gui Shan said."

"No problem it's part of my duty to protect u since you are powerless." Grandmaster Hun Feng replied.

"I plead to be your fully disciple Gui Shan said.

"I'm happy you are back to your sensen." Grandmaster replied.

 "so master, when do I begin my training? Gui Shan said with serious tone.

 "Anytime you feel is right but mind you a day u spend here is an hour in the real world, so reconsider your options master said

"How about I being tomorrow." 

 "As you wish, u can go now." grandmaster said closing the conversation.

Gui Shan regained consciousness and discovered that he only spent few minutes he quickly went back to the cave to avoid any suspicious from his friend.

The next day they both got ready and continue their journey. 

Tang tang brought out a map from his bag and fellow the map, the discovered a path and short route that would lead them to nirong village.

As the continued follow the path being guided by the map, they got to a point were the path now divided into three separate ways, contemplating on which way to follow, they both Decided to take a nap snice it was already noon They sat under oak tree.
