Once upon the time, they was a small village called kenxo, people living inside as we called them were villagers, they believed in their chief priest call Okon, the gods of the land had makes known to them that whosoever gives birth to twins is very rare, and it will be a sacrifice to the gods but if you refused to do so, it brings suffering to the land.

. Chief Priest : Twins are rare; it brings disaster, suffering and pains to the land.

Well it was written for so long, and passed it from generation to generation; In the village lived a man knows as Okafor and his wife knows as Atim, they both lived for 10years without a child, they had offered sacrifice to the gods maybe they had offended the gods of the land in anywhere, soon enough his wife was pregnant which brings them more joy to it, Okafor was a prince of the land, living in his own hut away from the palace, the Igwe his father Effiong was old, it was time for him to be crown king; he was very happy about it, during that period his wife give birth to a child but not just a child but male twins, their happiness turns to sorrows, both of them knew that the twins will be sacrifice in the next market day, he looked at his sons as he shed tears, what wil i do? I can't let the chief priest kills my sons after 10years of seeking for a child.

. Okafor : Don't worry kokoima, i wouldn't allow that to happens even it will be my last breathe.

. Atim his wife who was just weeping.

. Atim : Please do something nna.

. Okafor makes his way to the palace to seek his father for help.

. Okafor : Greeting father(as he kneel).
.
. Igwe : Rise up son; i've heard your wife gave birth to a twins.
.
. Okafor : Yes father that's why am here, i can't allowed such things to happens tufiakwa(God forbid).

. Igwe : Son what has comes over you? Did you want to challenge the gods of this land?

. Okafor : Father those children are your grandson.
.
. Igwe : I know about it but thing has to been done Okafor, the gods gives and takes it back, there's nothing you'll do just allows it to go, the gods will give you another one.

. Okafor : Never will i allowed such to happen father.
.
. Igwe : Okafor doing this will cause the gods anger to you.
.
. Okafor : Then let it be, am ready; but those children they are not going to sacrifice them.

. Okafor stood up from the wooden bench which he was sitting down.

. Okafor : Am going father; i've speak what's in my mind.
.
. Igwe : You knows that your crowning wouldn’t be done if you dared challenge the gods, this laws were written by our forefathers.

. Okafor : I know about it but am not letting it to happens, excuse me father.

. He walks away from the palace.

.
. Igwe : Okafor, Okafor come back here, our people says; when a fowl sees thing but couldn't know what's inside, since you stand by your word then you're on your own.

. Okafor reached his hut as he sat down on the wooden chair still thinking.

. Okafor : I can't let this happen, if my father can't help me then i have to sacrifice my life just to save them, i won't allow it to happen, never!
