The cricket makes chirping noises by rubbing the forewings together, leaping in the wall and digging their holes to make it deep, the moon has closed his lip, Okafor whose had raised up very early in the morning, in his hands were the twins, Atim his wife was still crying as she pray for their safety, a fiqure was seen coming towards them which revealed Akon, Okafor placed his sons in the basket which his wife mend for them as he covered them a little.

The two set their way up down the forest, the evil forest, birds singing as strange sounds was heard, Okafor was afraid but for his sons who he didn't want them to be sacrifice, he must paid a price, he was happy that his friend has decided to help him, the two were friends since their childhood, you may think they were brothers because of the same height and how both were very close to each other, he remembers what his wife told him after Akon has left in the evening.

He looks at Akon who was with his gun and a hunting farm, he keeps wondering if Akon could betrayed him; No he can't do that! they makes themselves as they reached a river, entering a canoe he dropped the basket as he step out to untie the rope which was tied to the tree, Akon who was watching him from behind as he trigger his gun and shot him in his leg, Okafor gave a loud cries as he turns and faced his friend.

 . Akon : Am very sorry my prince but i couldn't let you escaped or do it without including your father.

 . Okafor : What have you done Akon?

 .

 . Akon : Your father promised me the throne of Kenxo kingdom if i can lead you here.

 . Okafor : You betrayed me Akon, if i know this will happen i won't have included you rather would have paid attention to my wife.

 . Okafor limb on his leg as blood rushes out, soon enough the guards surrounded them, his father Effiong walks up to him.

 . Igwe : Okafor you're a disgrace to me, after so much pleading with you, but you still go ahead and cross the boundaries.

 .

 . Igwe : Stop it; am not your father, our people said; Look before you leap, when your friend told me, well i didn't believed him untill he proved to me, yes he was right; In returns i promise him the throne of Kenxo kingdom and he lead me here, well he's also my son and i will grant it to him.

 . The guards walks towards him, he quickly as possible push the canoe which start running in the water as it fall off the cliff, another shot was released to his other leg as he falls down and roamed in pains.
